Smita Mahajan
Senior most disciple of Smt. Sucheta Chapekar; B.A.' Sangeet Visharad;
M.A. (Dance), Music composer, choreographer and dance teacher. A versatile dancer performing in India and abroad for the past 20 years. She
has choreographed a full fledged ballet "Devi Mahatmayam" and many traditional compositions.
2)Arundhati Patwardhan
B.Com., M.A. (Dance). She is a vivacious dancer and is equally proficient
in Bharata Natyam and "Nritya Ganga" She shows promise as a popular teacher and
choreographer. she has interest in all aspects of performing including organization.
3) Prasanna
Athale
Senior disciple of Smt. Sucheta Chapekar B.A.(Hon), M.A. (Dance) Teacher
and choreographer of considerable merit she has choreographed a full fledged ballet " Malati Madhav and many group
compositions she is also trained in Carnatic music and has special flair for journalism and writing.
4) Neelima
Kadhe
Senior disciple, G.D. Art, Art Master, M.A. (Dance). She has performed
extensively and her dancing is marked by grace and beauty of line. Her subject of special interest and study is - Relationship of dance and
painting.
5) Alka Lajmi
B.Sc., (Home-science), M.A. (Dance), performer for the past twelve years. She has given many solo and group performances and has an impressive stage presence. She teaches at Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Vashi, New
Mumbai.
6) Uttara Tulshibagwale
M.A. (Mathematics), M.A. (Dance). Senior disciple of Smt. Sucheta
Chapekar. she is a popular teacher, choreographer and also has a
flair for music.
7) Ashwini Ekbote
B.Com., M.A. Dance. She has special flair for abhinaya, attractive stage
presence and is a choreographer and teacher. She heads Kalavardhini's
Kothrud branch in Pune.
8) Anjali Bagal
M.Sc. (Nutrition), M.A. (Dance). She is a senior dancer having good stage presence and sense of music. She heads Kalavardhini's Aundh branch in Pune.
10) Vaishali Parasnis
BFA, M.A.(Dance). She has several solo and group performances to her
credit. Her dance is striking for its clarity. She is also a teacher and
choreographer and heads Kalavrdhini's Satara branch.
11) Dhanashree Apte
B.Com., She is an experienced dancer and teacher, has good stage
presence and has a fine sense of music. She also perform in 'Nritya
Ganga' style. She heads Kalavardhini's Miraj branch.
12) Asavari Bhende
B.Com, M.A. (Dance). She had her initial training in dance in
Gujrat. She is a bright dancer having a vigorous technique and is also interested in
teaching.
13) Manasi Vaze
B.Com, B.A. (Dance). She has considerable experience in theater and shows promise as dancer and teacher.
14) Ketaki
Thakur-
B.A. (Dance) , doing M.A.(Dance) a bright and a talented
dancer. She will be managing and teaching in the Bibwewadi branch.
15)Parimal Phadke
B.Com , M.A. (Dance) . A bright and talented dancer. Shows promise as a performer , scholar, teacher and a choreographer.

Smt. Sucheta and later took training

M.Sc.( Life Sciences) She is a gifted performer , dancer and teacher and also choreographed on
Indian themes with her American students.
3)Swaroop Patwardhan
B.A.( Dance) Another dancer from Kalavardhini who is also
contributing to the cause of Kalavardhini.
