Arangetram -Disciples of Aparna Matange - Sonya
Kothari and Jigna Shah performed their Bharatanatyam
Arangetram at Miami Beach Arts Centre , on 17th
August at 6:30 p.m. Aparna is one of the seniormost
disciples of Dr.Sucheta Chapekar . Aparna has efficiently
carried forward Kalavardhini 's primary aim of promoting
art through classical dance.Aparna is equally proficient
in preformance , choreography as well as music composition
which are important aspects of Bharatanatyam.
About
her students-
Sonya is a student of International Baccaleurate
program of German National Honor. Jigna is a student
from the MAST academy , she not only excells in
Maths but has a flair for poetry . Both of them are indebted
to their teacher Aparna for instilling love for Bharatanatyam
and they look forward to pursue it further.Kalavardhini
is proud of Aparna Matange who has kept its flag flying
